The Telangana advocates agitation for a separate High court has gained momentum and also turned violent . Tension gripped Ranga Reddy District Court Complex on Friday as lawyers closed the main gate and staged demonstration demanding a separate high court for the new state.

While a group of lawyers squatted on the road in front of the gate, stopping judges, clients another group stopped others from going inside the court hall from 10 am. The Agitators refused to let in anyone and raised slogans against the delay in bifurcation of the High Court in Hyderabad.

Finally the L.B. Nagar police of Cyberabad rushed there and brought the situation under control with the help of additional forces even as some persons hurled stones at the car of one of the judges. The police also used force and took the agitating lawyers into custody, who were later taken to a near-by police station.
