The three-day National Legal Fest 2015 was inaugurated by district sessions judge R Murali at Siddhartha Law College on Friday. Law students from across the country came down to take part in the festival.

Addressing the gathering R Murali said, “Students should learn to face challenges and tide against the hurdles to become successful in their careers. It is important to work hard in order to realise dreams. Giving a hundred per cent to the job would not only give you good results but also satisfaction and contentment.”

The judge also appreciated the management of Siddhartha Law College for organising the festival which will help students build their personality.

One of the events at the fest was All India Moot Court, where teams of three participated and expressed their stand on the proposed theme relating to the modifications and reforms suggested to the Juvenile Justice Act. Besides All India Moot Court, the legal fest also conducted competitions like the All India Legal Quiz and the All India Extempore, where students were tested on their knowledge and wit. As many as 14 teams representing colleges from Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, New Delhi and nearby places were seen participating in the event. More than 300 law students from various colleges are taking part in the activities.
