CM KCR lauds honest cop
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lauded a constable for his honesty by personally inviting him to his camp office in Begumpet, in the presence of senior police officials.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lauded a constable for his honesty by personally inviting him to his camp office in Begumpet, in the presence of senior police officials.
G Narayana Rao, a constable of Jubilee Hills Police Station refused to take money from a passport applicant when he visited for verification.
Even as the applicant’s father extended his hand with additional amount, he politely refused by saying that the Chief Minister had hiked the salaries of the employees.
The Chief Minister was informed about the incident by the same resident. KCR lauded the honesty and amidst the presence of senior officials, including City Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy and asked others to take his example of refusing to say no to bribe.
