Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma conducted a Special Task Force (STF) meeting on Tuesday and reviewed the progress of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project. HMR MD NVS Reddy informed that since the last STF meeting, 24 properties have been dismantled and that for another 125 properties, cheques would be issued soon.

Rajiv Sharma directed the MA&UD principal secretary to hold a joint meeting with irrigation department, TSRTC and HMR for resolving the technical parameters of the proposed bridge between Rangmahal junction and Mahatma Ghandhi Bus Station. M Jitendar, Addl. Commissioner of Police (Traffic), suggested remedial measures to be taken up for minimising traffic inconveniences being caused due to execution of Metro Rail works. He has also indicated various rectification works to be taken up by L&T MRHL and the GHMC.
