Hyderabad: The LB Nagar police on Monday registered a case against two doctors for their alleged involvement in a kidney transplantation racket. Based on a complaint by the patient, Madhava Reddy, a resident of Vanasthalipuram, police registered a case. In his complaint, he mentioned that Dr Ramji and his wife, of Sri Balaji Hospital and Dr Nagabhushanam of Raksha Hospital cheated him to the tune of Rs 15 lakh for the kidney transplant. It has been learnt that a case was booked against the doctors under the Human Organs Act. Further investigation is underway.
