Jana Sena\'s Electoral Battle to Begin With GHMC Polls: Pawan Kalyan. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan today said he and his party were now ready to take on the challenge at the hustings and a trial run in the election politics for his party will commence with the GHMC polls.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan today said he and his party were now ready to take on the challenge at the hustings and a trial run in the election politics for his party will commence with the GHMC polls.

Addressing a press conference at his Filmnagar office to offset the political impact of his visit to CRDA villages yesterday Pawan said that Jana Sena will field candidates in the upcoming GHMC polls and also any other elections in the state in the coming days.

He felt the need for being a people's representative during his visit to CRDA villages where the anxiety and suffering of the farm labor and small farmers as an outcome of the land pooling was crystal clear to him and as a non-MLA or MP he felt he was helpless to do any thing. Hence the decision to hit the road to elections.

Pawan said that he's contemplating on contesting all the polls in order to have electoral presence and experience. "Jana Sena is yet to emerge as a full fledged political entity. We no doubt played a stellar role in the general elections of 2014 and our presence had brought out the desired results and recognition in both the TDP, BJP and other national political arena.

"That 's why Jana Sena and I would like to explore the elections and want to represent people and focus on what best could be done for their well being and become their voice. We will try to contest almost all the upcoming polls," corroborated Pawan. He also predicted that in the event he entered the political fray the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh will not be the same.

Maintaining that he's not against any party, community or governments, Pawan pointed out the loopholes in the governance of both State and Central governments. While backing TDP, he also regretted that the party had failed to look into the farmers' woes in Penumaka, Undavalli and Bethapudi villages who are against the land Pooling System and pressure from state government to take away their livelihood option of land. Pawan equally took pot-shots at TDP and BJP.

Urging TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu to set up a special committee to look into the grievances raised by the villagers of Penumaka, Undavalli and Bethapudi, the Jana sena chief said why should the government hesitate to listen and address their problems in good faith and also earn their good will.
