Telangana will soon be having its own English newspaper with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao expanding his media business.
KCR who earlier launched a leading daily and new channel Namaste Telangana successfully during the Telangana movement will soon launch English daily in Telangana. The English daily is titled as Telangana Today and the idea which has been running for a while with KCR recently gave a go ahead.
A close confidant from the CM quarters stated that the formal launch might take 2-3 months and the daily will include multiple editions in Telangana providing the coverage people of Telangana desire.
Currently, Namaste Telangana that was launched on June 6, 2011 is published from Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad and Nalgonda; the English edition also is set to begin with these editions.
