The Met office on Friday forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States on Saturday. It said isolated rain or thundershower may occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the next 24 hours. On Friday, isolated rainfall occurred in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm were: Chodavaram, Jangaon, Hanamkonda 3 each, Warangal 2. On Thursday, the maximum temperature appreciably rose at a few places in Telangana, at one or two places in Rayalaseema and rest of Telangana.
It was above normal at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and below normal at one or two places in Telangana. Kadapa recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius in the southern region. The minimum temperature rose appreciably at many places in Telangana and rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema.
It was markedly above normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema, appreciably above normal at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places in Rayalaseema. Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius in the plains of the region. Hyderabad city experienced heavy rain on Friday.
