SSC girl consumes toilet cleaner

Pithapuram: An SSC student of integrated SC welfare hostel at Pithapuram in East Godavari, consumed bathroom cleaner fearing action by hostel warden over a dispute between her and her hostel mate on Thursday morning The girl D Ganga had a scuffle with her hostel mate a class VII student over a notebook. In the melee, the latter fell down and suffered a head injury. Fearing action by the hostel authorities, Ganga consumed bathroom cleaner and fell unconscious. She was shifted to local hospital and later to Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH) for medical care. Pithapuram police registered the case.
