Dio and Neo updated

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the pricing and availability of the 2015 Dream Neo entry-level motorcycle and Dio scooter in Delhi and Mumbai. Both the models were unveiled at an event in February this year along with the all-new Activa 3G and get new body graphics and decals for the 2015 edition. Honda India has made no changes to the powertrain and the two-wheelers continue with the existing mechanicals.

In terms of updates, the Honda Dio gets new stickers, side panel graphics and a sporty logo lending a trendy look and have been targeted to attract young buyers. The scooter will be available in new dual-tone colour options which include the Jazzy Blue Metallic, Sports Red, Candy Palm Green and Black. The Dream Neo with Honda Eco Technology (HET) has been updated with new graphics on the fuel tank, side cowl and new stickers on the side panel. The Dream Neo will be available two new colour options namely Black with Violet Stripes, Black with Red Stripes.

In terms of powertrain, the 2015 Honda Dio uses is the same 109.2cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine as the outgoing model that is tuned to produce 8 BHP of power at 7000 RPM and 8.77 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM, paired to a CVT transmission. The 2015 Dream Neo employs also equips the same powerplant under the belly with the 109cc 4-stroke, air-cooled engine tuned to produce 8.4 PS of peak power and 8.63 Nm of torque, paired to a 4-speed gearbox.
