NCC cadets spread awareness
The NCC cadets of 12/2 company , Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri, secunderabad, along with the authorities of 2 AN Battalion NCC, Secunderabad Group, have visited Government S C Development Hostel for Boys at Medchal, RR district, Telangana as part of its social service activity to reach out to the under privileged boys of rural areas.
Hyderabad: The NCC cadets of 12/2 company , Bhavan’s Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri, secunderabad, along with the authorities of 2 AN Battalion NCC, Secunderabad Group, have visited Government S C Development Hostel for Boys at Medchal, RR district, Telangana as part of its social service activity to reach out to the under privileged boys of rural areas. The idea was to create the awareness among NCC cadets about social service & social outreach and motivate the young children to join NCC and contribute to nation building. During this occasion the Col.R.Chopra, Commanding Officer, 2 (Andhra) Battalion and Prof.Y.Ashok, Principal, Bhavan’s Vivekananda College have interacted with the children and distributed needy goods to the children. This programme was initiated, organized and spearheaded by Under Officer Kumari Puja who is star cadet of Bhavan’s Vivekananda College.
