Police informed that the incident occurred on Saturday night when the victim who is a college student from Enumamula village was returning from Balaji Nagar area of Enumamula agricultural market along with her boyfriend.
The accused men ambushed the duo and thrashed the boy before sexually assaulting the girl. Police stated that a complaint has been lodged on Sunday in Intezargunj police station and four suspects have been detained for interrogation.
