AP wants to build some buildings on its own, in the Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) mode and other through the Public Private Partnership (PPP) system.

Main buildings in the capital city are the Assembly, Raj Bhavan, the High Court and the Secretariat; these buildings will be constructed by the state on its own.

The Raj Bhavan will cost Rs 390 crore, the Assembly and Secretariat buildings Rs 2010 crore and the HC Rs 1,150 crore. The BOT system will used for construction of Guest houses, sewerage system, roads and others while the PPP mode will used for construction of government office buildings like directorates, Minister’s quarters and others will be constructed in the PPP mode. Only after the Singapore government submits its master plan in May and getting funds from the Centre, the construction of the capital city will start.
