Doers of good never come to grief, Verse 40, Chapter 6, Bhagavad Gita. Charity is believed to be a great virtue of the great persons. Blood donation is the most glaring way to fulfill social obligations. Charity is the jewel/ornament of brave.
Human life is the greatest gift of Almighty. It's an eternal truth that all is born must die one day. Human body is mortal and time-brittle. There are two main sayings of Maharishi Ved Vyas ji in the entire eighteen titles of Puran: charity/ philanthropy /helping others are the greatest virtue and hurting others is the greatest sin.
King Sivi offered his own flesh to save the life of a pigeon. King Dilip, an ancestor of Lord Rama was willing to sacrifice himself to save the cow from a lion. Lord Shri Krishna asked Barbarika to offer his head as charity. Barbarik, the grandson of Pandava Bhim, happily cut his head off and devoted it to Lord Krishna.
Lord Krishna has given him (Barbarik) a boon that during kalyug he will be worshipped as “Shri Shyam. Maharishi Dadhichi voluntarily even gave his bones, to Lord Indra with which he brought an end to the most powerful demon Vruthasura.
King Meghrath happily gives his own flesh to the hawak to save a pigeon. Indra in the guise of a Brahmin came and asked Karna to donate the Kavach (Breastplate Armor) & Kundal (Ear-rings) to him. Karna donated his kavach & kundal to Indra, through he knows he would be defeated if he donates.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of Sikhs had written "Deh Shiva var mohe, Shubh karman se kabhoon na taroon”.(O Lord Shiva, give me this boon, may I never hesitate in doing good deeds). Blood donation is a noble deed.
Health Benefits of Donating Blood:-
According to Daily Mail (Britain), research discovered donating blood can helping reducing the risk of heart attacks and cancer.According to a study from the Journal of the American Medical Association, researchers found that those aged 43 to 61 had fewer heart attacks and strokes when they donated blood regularly. Likewise, a study published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute also links iron to an increased cancer risk as it’s believed to increase free-radical damage in the body. If you have a relation between Mars and Moon in your horoscope, then definitely blood donation will keep your many issues under control.
Who can donate blood?
If you are between age group of 18-60 years, your weight is 45 kgs or more, your haemoglobin is 12.5 gm% minimum and your last blood donation was 3 months earlier then you can donate blood.

Hey mother you should give birth to a son/daughter who is either a devotee or charitable or brave, otherwise hey mother it's better to remain barren and not waste her beauty by giving birth to a quality less son/daughter.
