Hyderabad: A missing case of a private hospital employee Bhaskar, 45, turned out to be a murder on Sunday with the police recovering his body near Katta Maisamma Temple in Suraram, under Dundigal police station.Confirming that Bhaskar was murdered and the body remnants were recovered, the Dundigal police said that the accused were yet to be arrested.

Police said that he was bludgeoned to death by a blunt object. Originally from Pedda Shankarampet, Medak district, Bhaskar was living at Sai Nagar Colony in Suraram with his wife, Savitri. He had quit his job recently. “He left his house a couple of days ago and his mobile phone was switched off since then. As he did not return the next day, his wife approached the Dundigal police who registered a case of missing person,” police added.

A case under Section 302 (Murder) of the IPC has been registered.In another incident, a 48-year-old, S Balaiah allegedly committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan at his residence in Jayaram Nagar late on Saturday night. He was facing financial problem which is suspected to have driven him to take this extreme step, according to Petbasheerabad police.
