The Railway police arrested one person and seized from him unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs 40 lakh at Nampally railway station on Tuesday. A resident of Kukatpally, the accused was moving in a suspicious manner on the station premises. The security personnel examined his bag and found currency notes worth Rs 40 lakh.

As he did not possess any documentation for the source of the cash, the police informed the income tax department after seizing the cash,” they said.
