Tolichowki flyover is ready but...
The 770-metre long Tolichowki flyover, which was taken up at cost of Rs 38.41 crore, connecting Mehidipatnam to Hitec City, still awaits inauguration. The flyover was meant to be thrown open by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao by the last week of February. “Work on the flyover is done. It will provide hassle-free travel for motorists.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has overcome several hurdles in taking up these two projects and saw to it that they are completed at the earliest,” said GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer Somesh Kumar had said during an earlier interaction. The construction of a grade separator will ease the congestion at Tolichowki junction and reduce travel time from Mehdipatnam to Gachibowli and Hitec City and vice versa.
