YS Jagan says Polavaram will lose focus due to Pattiseema Urging Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to advance the Polavaram project to dispel fears on its completion, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the party MPs on Tuesday met the Union Finance Minister to discuss the issues.

Urging Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to advance the Polavaram project to dispel fears on its completion, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the party MPs on Tuesday met the Union Finance Minister to discuss the issues.
YS Jagan said that with AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu taking up Pattiseema project, people of the state are in fear that Polavaram project would be neglected as the two projects are similar in aims and objectives of diverting Godavari flood waters to Krishna delta, Rayalaseema.
Stating that Arun Jaitley assured to look into the issues, YS Jagan said that the clauses 7(e) and 7(f) of Godavari River Waters Dispute Tribunal that says when the Polavaram project gets the nod of CWC, upper riparian states of Maharashtra, Karnataka can stop 35 TMC water to AP staking a claim in the Krishna waters; were also brought to the notice of the Union Minister.
