Telangana to purchase 2,000 MW solar power
Telangana government, TSSPDCL (Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited) has initiated action to purchase 2,000 MW solar power through competitive bidding. TSSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy on Wednesday said the ceiling tariff per unit under Group one (category) (33/11 kv distribution interconnection substation) has been put at Rs 6.45 .
Hyderabad: Telangana government, TSSPDCL (Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited) has initiated action to purchase 2,000 MW solar power through competitive bidding. TSSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director G Raghuma Reddy on Wednesday said the ceiling tariff per unit under Group one (category) (33/11 kv distribution interconnection substation) has been put at Rs 6.45 . Under Group 2 category (132/33 kV or 220/132 kV or 400/220 kV Interconnection Substation) the purchasing price has been fixed at Rs 6.32 per unit.
500 MW each would be procured under group one and two categories.With a view to clarify doubts on bidding process, a pre- bidding meeting has been arranged on April 10 at the discom’s head office in the city. The bid documents along with PPA were already uploaded on the procurement platform on the Discom’s official website. The official said in a press release.
