YS Jagan Yatra is Prayaschita yatra, says TDP Minister Devineni
The TDP irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao says that YSRC Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy\'s Yatra is more a regret or repentance (prayaschita) yatra than a campaign against the Pattiseema project which has earned acceptance not only by politicians, but also people of Rayalaseema.
Is it a Project Yatra or a Repentance ( Prayaschita ) yatra?
The TDP irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswar Rao says that YSRC Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's Yatra is more a regret or repentance (prayaschita) yatra than a campaign against the Pattiseema project which has earned acceptance not only by politicians, but also people of Rayalaseema.
The minister said Polavaram was delayed for nearly 4 years during the YSR regime as the ruling party leaders were hell bent on their kick backs. "However, the TDP is committed to complete the Pattiseema project in a year and Polavaram in four years," he said.
Devineni said Jagan has no locus stand to go anywhere near the Polavaram Project as it was during his father's regime that Polavaram was sidelined which the TDP government has successfully put back on the fast track mode.
