CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should be named as main accused in the Sheshachalam encounter of coolies and Forest Minister Bojjala should be sacked.
CPI leader Chada Venkat Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should be named as main accused in the Sheshachalam encounter of coolies and Forest Minister Bojjala should be sacked.
Such a major encounter could not have occurred without the knowledge of CM Chandrababu Naidu and if the coolies were smugglers they would not have been so poor, he said.
They also demanded that Forest minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy who had declared that 'this is only a beginning and not the end" be sacked from the ministry. "How can the magisterial inquiry be truthful if the ministers make such statements?" he asked
The CPI leader said the red sander smugglers had direct and strong links with the ruling party and the opposition parties in the state. "The government is not capable of taking action against key criminals in the smuggling cartel, but only harassing and killing the poor coolies," he said.
