Y S Sharmila to tour Karimnagar district

Karimnagar: YSR Congress party State president and MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy informed that party supremo YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s sister, Sharmila, would conduct Odarpu Yatra in the district soon. She would meet the families of the activists who committed suicides after the death of YS Rajasekhara Reddy and the families of Telangana martyrs.

Addressing the party workers meeting held at Kalabharathi here on Sunday, Srinivas Reddy alleged that both Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Telugu Desam parties have come to power in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively by misleading the people.

The Two Chief Ministers K Chandrashekar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu, who promised to waive all type of farm loans before elections, have betrayed the farming community after coming to power, he alleged.

Nothing new was there in Telangana government’s ambitious programmes such as Mission Kakatiya and Water Grid, he said and predicted that the people would come to know the true colour of the government within a short period.
