TRS cadres elect Mynampally as GHMC unit chief
TRS leadership on Monday unanimously elected Mynampally Hanumantha Rao as its Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) unit president. Transport Minister Mahender Reddy conducted the election process at TRS Bhavan here on Monday. Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali proposed Hanumantha Rao’s name while Ministers Padma Rao Goud and Talasani Srinivas Yadav supported him.
Hyderabad: TRS leadership on Monday unanimously elected Mynampally Hanumantha Rao as its Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) unit president. Transport Minister Mahender Reddy conducted the election process at TRS Bhavan here on Monday. Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali proposed Hanumantha Rao’s name while Ministers Padma Rao Goud and Talasani Srinivas Yadav supported him.
Later, Rao extended thanks to KCR for giving him an opportunity to head the party under GHMC limits, which is heading for fresh elections. “I will take this responsibility and coordinate with all others members of the party to ensure TRS victory in the GHMC elections. Hyderabad will become a global city soon under KCR leadership,” he said. He sought cooperation of people to develop Hyderabad to witness rapid growth in the days to come.
