850 grams gold seized at RGIA

Customs officials on Tuesday seized 850 grams of gold at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad from two passengers who arrived here separately from Muscat and Dubai. Acting on a tip-off, customs sleuths apprehended a passenger, who arrived at the airport from Muscat on Tuesday morning. Officials seized gold weighing 350 grams. In another incident, officials confiscated a bag belonging to a woman passenger from Dubai and found gold.
