A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday set aside an order of a single judge and directed the single judge to dispose the matter relating to formation of AP Olympic Association (residuary) Tirupati. The bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice PV Sanjay Kumar was dealing with a review petition filed by the AP Olympic Association.

It may be recalled that a petition was filed seeking disqualification of the Indian Olympic Association and the Sports Authority from recognising any body that was not formed by bifurcation of AP Olympic Association, LB Stadium, and Hyderabad. A single judge had passed interim orders in the matter. Aggrieved by the order of the single judge the present review petition was filed. The bench refused to go into the details of the case, set aside the interim orders and directed the single judge to dispose the matter.
