AM Rathnam back in T-town. Surya Movies chief AM Rathnam, who made films like ‘Narasimha’, ‘Khushi’ and ‘7/G Brindavan Colony’ among other blockbusters, will be testing his luck at the Tollywood box office once again with ‘Yentha Vaadukhani’.

Starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, the film, which released this February, was a runaway hit at the Tamil box-office.

Gautham Vasudev Menon directed the actioner. At a promotional event of the film in Hyderabad on Thursday, Rathnam heaped high praise on Ajith. “As soon as he drops by the sets, he takes the initiative of greeting everyone. He is a very simple person who never behaves like a star,” said Rathnam.
He added that he was supposed to make a film with Menon longtime ago. “We were to join forces for a film starring Vikram but that didn’t happen. Nonetheless, we’ve worked for ‘Yentha Vaadukhani’. The film has his stamp all over it.” Co-starring Trisha and Anushka alongside Ajith, the film is scheduled to release early May.
