The mortal remains of mountaineer Malli Mastan Babu was conducted with state honors at the crematorium in Nellore town today.
The body of Mastan babu traced to the Andes at 6000 feet after a long hunt was brought back last night to Nellore town. Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu and State ministers Kamineni, Palle Raghunath Reddy, Ravela Kishore Baby, P Narayana and local MLA Mekapati Gautham Reddy participated in the event.
The AP government allegedly spent nearly One lakh dollars for getting the body all the way from Chile to India by a special flight.
