Free entry for children below 14 years at parks. Children below 14 years will now be provided access to all the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Coporation (GHMC) parks for free.
Children below 14 years will now be provided access to all the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Coporation (GHMC) parks for free. This was announced by Commissioner Somesh Kumar on Sunday at a painting competition in Indira Park. About 100 students from 20 schools participated in event.

The competition was held on the theme ‘Children Participatory Planning of Parks’ wherein students conveyed their suggestions on parks through their paintings. Somesh Kumar assured the students that their suggestions would be incorporated in the GHMC's plan for development of parks.
He said that a meeting would be conducted with senior citizens soon to take their suggestions for the development of the city. Later, the commissioner distributed Tulsi and mango plants to parents and the teachers who participated in the competition.
