Rs. 10.57 lakh realised from violators at Secunderabad Rly Stn. The South Central Railway conducted a fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at the Secunderabad Railway Station. Tickets of passengers were scrutinized to detect ticketless or irregular travel.
The South Central Railway conducted a fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at the Secunderabad Railway Station. Tickets of passengers were scrutinized to detect ticketless or irregular travel. 36 express trains, six passenger trains and 22 MMTS trains were thoroughly checked at the station. As a safety measure, checks were also conducted to prevent carrying of inflammable articles in the passenger carrying trains.
1,842 people were caught during the check of which 469 were travelling without ticket, 1,252 were travelling with inappropriate tickets and 61 had un-booked luggage. 60 people were penalised for littering at the station and an amount of Rs 12,000 was realised during the check. An amount of Rs 10.57 was realised towards penalty during the check.
