To the disappointment of many comic lovers, Hyderabad Comic Con 2015 has been postponed from June to September. Earlier this year, Comic Con India had announced that Hyderabad Comic Con will take place on June 13 and 14. But due to logistical reasons, it will now take place on September 12 and 13 at the Hitex Exhibition Center.

But due to logistical reasons, it will now take place on September 12 and 13 at the Hitex Exhibition Center. Jatin Varma, founder, Comic Con India, explains, “Due to certain logistical issues around organising the show in June, we are officially shifting the show dates.

We have quite a few surprises in store for our fans and we promise them an awesome show.” In the previous edition, American comic book writer Ron Marz who is well known for his writings for Silver Surfer, Green Lantern; Nathan Edmondson, an American writer best known for Image Comic’s espionage comic series Who Is Jake Ellis? and Vivek Tiwary, a New York Times Best Selling and Eisner Award Winning Author and a Tony Award winning producer were the special Comic Book guests at the event.

There were close to 40 hours of programming at the Hyderabad Comic Con 2014, including sessions and workshops with leading artistes and writers in India and abroad. Also, there were cosplay and activities by the Bahubali movie team. The footfall at the event touched approx 25,000 in three days with a ticketed entry.
