Nara Lokesh, son of TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is closely following in the foot steps of his father and emerging as a fund raiser for the investment starved state. He is all set to tour US from May 3 and intends to raise 500 million dollars and more as investment in Andhra Pradesh in infrastructure projects.

After Chandrababu Naidu's visits to Singapore, Japan, China and Germany for raising investments in AP, his son Lokesh's proposed tour has become a hot topic in the party and AP government. Several attractive documents, PPPs and also brochures were being readied for the purpose.

Lokesh is planning to hold business meetings with his alumni in Stanford and also meet several investment groups and MNCs through his World bank contacts. Sources close to TDP and Lokesh say that though the target is 500 million USD , he might succeed in raising several billions from NRIs of US and also Europe in infrastructure projects of the AP for which several SPV were being constituted.

Lokesh's gaining ground in the party and state gradually and emerging as the unchallenged successor to the gaddi of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. He has already successfully set himself as a popular leader in the party and state by conducting a unique bus yatra through which he distributed insurance money to party workers killed in political feuds and road accidents.
