Son murders father over memory card In an altercation over not being able to find his mobile memory card, a son allegedly murdered his father at Weepangandla village in Mahabubnagar District.
In an altercation over not being able to find his mobile memory card, a son allegedly murdered his father at Weepangandla village in Mahabubnagar District. The victim identified as G. Hanumanthu resided along with his wife and son G. Raju in a small apartment house in the village.

Raju who came home in an inebriated state on Monday night began searching for his memory card but when he was unable to find it, Raju inquired with his father.
When Raju received no positive response about the memory card whereabouts, he picked up a quarrel with his father. However, his family members pacified him but Raju woke up in the night and attacked his father with a stick and a stone resulting in his death, said Weepangandla sub inspector of police Ravi Babu.
The police registered a case against Raju under Section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code and efforts have been launched to nab Raju who fled the scene soon after the incident.
