Vows to develop AP. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday vowed to develop the State on a par with other developed States in the country.

Kakinada: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday vowed to develop the State on a par with other developed States in the country. Addressing the gathering after laying stone for tourism project here, the Chief Minister, who is in a jovial mood, explained various steps taken by the TDP for development despite several odds, including financial constraints.

He said that recently, he visited South Korea, Japan, Singapore, China and other countries to develop AP on this mission. Naidu said that he has special affection towards the two Godavari districts as the TDP was given more number of MLA seats by people of these two districts.

Turning his attention to Congress, he said that the party betrayed the people’s faith by dividing the State against their wish. “We have no capital or funds at our disposal to build the new capital, but we have the determination and will to face challenges,” he said, for which the crowd cheered him.

The CM felt that both industrial and farm sector development will help in overall development. In addition to this, the development of ports will be vital for export, import activity which will play important role in all round development. The CM also cited to revive the Buckingham canal which will help transport through water ways which ultimately helps the development of the State.

Earlier on his arrival, the CM was extended warm welcome by Deputy CM and Home Minister N Chinarajappa, Finance Minister Yenamala Ramakrishnudu, several MLAs of the district, Kakinada MP Thota Narasimham, District Collector H Arun Kumar and others. The CM, who was almost one hour behind his scheduled time, reached the place by 11.25 am and was here for more than one hour.
