Rahul Gandhi to visit Osmania University in Telangana

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is expected for a two day visit to Telangana next week as a part of the tour to meet the farmers who have suffered losses due to the unseasonal rains and insurmountable loans.

Telangana since its formation in June last year witnessed more than 700 farmer suicides and Mr Gandhi will be visiting Medak where around 100 farmers have committed suicide.

Rahul Gandhi has been invited to Osmania University in Hyderabad by a a student's committee who want to thank him and the Congress party for fulfilling the dream of Telangana into reality. Mr Gandhi will be rendering support not only to the famers but also the youth in the state who are struggling with unemployment.
