AP: Two more tribals gunned down by Maoists Police informed that two more tribals were gunned down by Maoists in Burakavakota village in East Godavari district on the suspicion that they were acting as police informers.

On Monday, Police informed that two more tribals were gunned down by Maoists in Burakavakota village in East Godavari district on the suspicion that they were acting as police informers.


The extremists belonging to the Communist Party of India (Maoists) left a letter behind in which they stated that both the tribals were extorting money from people and were working as informers for a police sub-inspector. The bodies have been shifted to a government hospital.


A week ago, two tribals were killed by the Maoists in Kamanathogu village of Yetapaka mandal. These Maoist activities are on a rise at the East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts bordering Chhattisgarh where many villagers, tribals have been killed based on the suspicion of them acting as police informers.
