The Chandanagar police on Sunday arrested one person and seized 46 gelatin sticks and 20 electronic detonators from his possession them without license.
According to the police, they intercepted Gunti Murali Sagar, 24, of Road No 7, Bhagat Singh Colony, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills, when he was travelling on a tractor (AP 20J 0397) near Salsa Bar in Chandanagar area.
The cops seized gelatin and detonators, as he did not have license to possess the explosives. The tractor was also seized and he was remanded in judicial custody.
A case has been registered under Section 9 (1) (b) of the Explosives Act. The case is under investigation.
