In a statement, association president K Jacob Raju said, “The Night Bazar has 105 shops and most of the owners are youngsters who have taken a loan to do business.

Majority of customers belong to the IT industry. However the present government has disconnected the neon signboard of Night Bazaar at the entrance of Shiparamam and has removed the benches of entrance. This is a clear tactic to evict the traders and allot the shops to new shopkeepers.”
