Summer Will End Soon Enough, So Will Childhood. Not a day passes by without remembring my childhood. I am sure, most of the readers would agree to my point as they too feel the same way.

Not a day passes by without remembring my childhood. I am sure, most of the readers would agree to my point as they too feel the same way. Most of the writers write the usual things, I too do the same, but my motto is to trigger their thinking with a perfect blend of facts and fiction presented to them in a flavored manner. Hope that I acheive sucess in this matter.

Coming to my topic about childhood. A feeling so etheral, a phase so golden, memories so enduring, momentous and monumental!! Have we ever pondered over the fact that how our parents would have felt on our maiden talk, walk and our crawl. No happiness in this world can match that happiness, being a maternal aunt gives me that feeling. As if my own baby laughs with me, smiles to me, his girgles, his cries, his crawling reminds me of my own childhood.

My childhood no doubt has been full of lessons and gospel knowledge. One such lesson, I would like to share with my readers. It was a clear summer evenning. I used to go for a stroll in evennings with my father. On one such stroll, we came across a brick kiln. My father told me how bricks are formed.

Then after a pause he told me," bacha, in the same manner, you also will have to face future. You are just like the raw material, in order to be a brick, you will have to face many challenges, like burning in a kiln, beat the heat, and pressure".

I was a child those days and did not understand the intensity of this piece of advice, but now I can say what an excellent comparison my father made! We are just like clay bearing materials and education hardens us and as bricks are used in masonry construction, we have to construct a well knit society! This is not possible without hard work and sacrifice! Some lessons that we learn at early age remain with us throughout our life. We should continue to learn from them.

Our learning reflects in our behaviour, so we should make it refined and poised. Let us break the stereotype of ignorance and illetracy. Let us rise from slumber and shake off our dead concience.
