Case registered in suspicious death of siblings
he Maheshwaram police on Monday registered a case in connection with the death of an eight-year-old girl and her younger brother, under mysterious circumstances. The victims, K Ritika and her brother K Arjun, 6, fell sick after consuming some food items near their residence in Nalla Cheruvu Tanda on Sunday.

The victims, K Ritika and her brother K Arjun, 6, fell sick after consuming some food items near their residence in Nalla Cheruvu Tanda on Sunday. They were immediately rushed to a private hospital where Ritika was declared brought dead and Arjun died a few hours after admission.
According to their father, Shakru, he and his wife left the children at their relative Satyamma's house. On return, he found that both were vomiting and soon fell sick. Based on father's complaint, a case under suspicious death has been registered and investigation is on, sub-inspector B Sai Prakash Goud said.
