Suzuki launched the Gixxer last year in India and the bike has been a success for the brand. It has fared better in terms of sales than the company expected. Recently, the Japanese bike maker also added a full faired bike, the Gixxer SF, to its portfolio which is essentially a Gixxer with a full fairing. This has made it the most affordable full faired bike in the country. To grab some more attention and sales, Suzuki has now added dual tone colour schemes to the Gixxer.

The new colour schemes are essentially a mix and match of the colours that the bike was already available in. Customers get a choice of red and white colour combination or a white and red colour combination. Both the colour schemes sound the same with the only difference being the panels which are painted in either colours.

The red and white combination comes with a red tank, a red headlight cover and the other panels in white. A white stripe adorns the centre of the tank. The white and red colour scheme is exactly the opposite of the former combination. Mechanically, the Suzuki Gixxer remains unchanged and is powered by a 155cc powertrain producing 14.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM.

The power figures are among the best in class and the motorcycle is quite fuel efficient too. The low end torque helps in riding within the city and the top end performance helps on the open road, making it a very enjoyable machine. A dynamically rich bike with grippy tyres and a beautiful engine deserves success and this is what Suzuki is aiming for.
