Hyderabad: A 37-year-old man was murdered allegedly by his wife with the help of her brother and sister following a heated argument between them at their house in Azad Chandrasekhar Nagar, under Tukaramgate police station on Monday. The woman, Rajitha, 30, a housewife, used to live with his husband, A Raju along with their two daughters at Azad Chandrasekhar Nagar in Addagutta area in a rented house.
The couple got married 16 years ago. For the past few months, the husband and wife had been quarrelling over some domestic issues and he reportedly had been torturing her mentally and physically, according to the police. "In the past, Rajitha filed several complaints against Raju, including 498 A which was still pending," inspector T Laxminarayana said.
On Sunday night, Raju reportedly in an inebriated state, picked up a quarrel and beat up Rajitha. She called her brother Sammaiah and sister Komaramma over phone, who immediately rushed to their place and started hitting him. “In a fit of rage, Rajitha pushed Raju against a wall due to which he sustained serious head injuries and died on his way to Gandhi Hospital,” the inspector said. She admitted to the police that she killed him with the help of her brother and sister. Police arrested them and registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC.
