Girls are ahead of boys in both engineering, medical and agriculture streams in APEamcet-2015. Of the 61,345 girls appeared for engineering, 50,521 or 82.36 per cent were qualified. As far as boys are concerned, of the 1,01,472 appeared for the test, 75,532 or 74.44 per cent, were qualified. The total number of those qualified stands at 77.42 per cent. However, no girl student could find a place among top 10 in the engineering stream.

However, no girl student could find a place among top 10 in the engineering stream.


But in medical and agriculture, three ranks, 3, 8 and 9, went in favour of girls, who belong to Telangana state. While the 3rd ranker S Damini is from Kondapur in Rangareddy district, 8th ranker Sumaiyah Fatima is from Toli Chowki in Hyderabad. The 9th ranker Sheelam Charishma belongs to Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district.


As far as agriculture and medical stream is concerned, out of 51,495 girl students, 47,001 or 91.27 were qualified. Of the 29,515 boys, 25,819 or 87.48 per cent were qualified. The total per cent of qualified candidates is 89.89. Qualified but failed in Inter: Out of the 1, 41,143 qualified for engineering, 11,395 failed in Intermediate examinations.
