While most people think that going on a trip on a four-wheeler is a costly affair, we have got a self drive car rental provider ZoomCar in the city. The Bengaluru-based self drive car rental company will be launching its operations in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
You must be thinking what’s so new about the company and what makes it stand out among other car rental companies? Well, unlike other car rental companies, you won’t have to shell out huge amounts from your pocket to drive in some of the best cars.
The car hiring charges range from Rs 80 per hour for a Ford Figo to Rs 140 per hour for a Mahindra XUV500. And the USP, this price is inclusive of the fuel and insurance charges. That made you skip a hear beat? Wait a sec, there is more to it. All the cars have an All India Permit so the toll booths and Police won’t stop you from exploring other states in the country.
Zoomcars has extended its operations in Hyderabad. The Bangalore-based company is offering a range of cars in Mumbai which include the Ford Figo, Honda City, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and XUV500. In Chennai, the Honda Amaze is added to the list.
ZoomCar in the city will offer a range of hatchbacks and SUVs which include Ford Figo, Honda Amaze, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV and Scorpio. With its branches in Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai and now Hyderabad, the company now plans to enter other big and small cities in the coming year.
The self-drive car rental company also plans to triple its fleet of cars in the country from 1,000 to 3,000 units.An interested customer can rent a car on an hourly, monthly or daily basis by booking it on to the company’s official website. The price covers a travel distance of 10km for every hour of hire with an additional charge of Rs 12-15 per km depending on the vehicle.ZoomCar states that there would be a 20 per cent difference in cost when a car is booked during weekdays compared to weekends. It would also be providing discounts on new signups.
