ONGC hosts Hindi meet in Hyderabad. Public sector Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has hosted the 41st half yearly Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) meeting here on Friday.

Hyderabad: Public sector Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has hosted the 41st half yearly Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) meeting here on Friday. The meeting was chaired by V Uday Bhaskar, Chairman and Managing Director, BDL. Speaking on the occasion, Uday Bhaskar appreciated the efforts of TOLIC in implementation of the official language.

He further said PSUs had been making sincere efforts in implementing and promoting official language (Hindi) along with their core jobs. He suggested the TOLIC to evolve innovative methods for promoting official language. P Vijay Kumar, Deputy Director, Implementaion Southern Region, Ministry of Home, Benguluru reviewed the activities of official language work in PSUs in Hyderabad.

R K Sharma, General Manager (HR), ONGC, Rajahmundry, who also spoke at the event, had explained about the official language implementation and promotion in ONGC Rajahmundry and Hyderabad. Around 200 senior executives from 50 public sector undertakings (PSUs) in Hyderabad had attended the programme.

Participants Included M Narayana Rao, CMD, MIDHANI, Ravinder Singh, Director Personnel, NMDC and Homnidhi Sharma, TOLIC Member Secretary, BDL Senior Manager OL. Depala Suresh Kumar, In-charge DGM, ONGC Hyderabad, coordinated the meeting.
