IPS gets AP branch. The Andhra Pradesh branch of Indian Prosthodontics Society (IPS) was set up in the city on Sunday. With Dr A Venkat Reddy as president, IPS members of all the 13 districts in the State attended the meeting held to mark the formation.

Addressing people at the event, Dr Venkat Reddy said that IPS, which was set up in 1973, would work towards safeguarding the interests of prosthodontists in the city.

“The AP branch with about 150 members would soon take up several activities including free denture camps, for the benefit of the underprivileged,” he added. Dr P Srinivas was elected secretary of the AP branch. An executive committee has also been formed to oversee the society’s matters.
