Chandrababu: Amaravati to be people’s capital
Speaking at a conference along with Singapore Minister Eswaran, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the capital city Amaravati would be constructed with all the amenities required for the 1.3 Crore population in the capital region.

Stating that Amaravati would be people’s capital, Chandrababu Naidu said that the Capital City spread over 219 sq km and is divided into seven corridors will have the construction works beginning from Vijayadasami festival. The Chief Minister also announced that the capital city would generate employment and would be made rich with international standards.
On Monday, the Singapore Government handed over the master plan of the capital city to Chandrababu Naidu and the seed capital plan is expected by mid-July.
