Kick-off Godavari Pushkaram from Bhadrachalam. Hindu spiritual leader Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami has advised Telangana government to kick-start the holy Godavari Pushkaram from Bhadrachalam in view of the historic Ram Temple situated there.

Hyderabad: Hindu spiritual leader Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swami has advised Telangana government to kick-start the holy Godavari Pushkaram from Bhadrachalam in view of the historic Ram Temple situated there.
Government Advisor Dr KV Ramanachary called on the pontiff at the latter’s ashram in Muchintal in Shamshabad on Sunday. On the instructions of Chief Minister, Pushkar Invitation Committee is meeting important spiritual heads to extend invitation and seek their blessings.
Chinna Jeeyar told Ramanachary that his trust and members would take part actively to ensure the holy fete went off smoothly. Later speaking to reporters, Ramanachary stated that arrangements were going on at a brisk pace in five districts. Government is constructing 107 Ghats at various places on the banks of Godavari.
Many civic amenities are being planned at Bharachalam, Basar, Mancherial, Dharmapuri, Nizamabad and other places, he said. The other members of the Committee including Mruthyunjaya Sharma, Chandrasekhar Siddhanti, Harinath Sarma, P.Narsimha Rao Siddhanti accompanied Ramanachary during this visit.
