Chandrababu Naidu goes ga ga over AP capital Amaravati
Calling the AP Capital, Amaravati as ‘People’s Capital’, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that the capital would be constructed by the government not just for administrative purposes but will also have economic activity.

Stating that the Amaravati would be the best city of the 21st century, Mr Naidu said that the state government intends to complete the construction of the capital at the earliest. Mr Naidu admitted the issues being faced for the construction of the capital – financial issues, employees not having residential facilities. Hence, the Chief Minister expects the Centre to support the state in financial and policy matters.
Singapore government is likely to submit the master plan for the seed capital on July 15 and the construction work will be expedited from Vijayadasami, said the Chief Minister who added that the state would do justice to the farmers who parted with their lands for the capital construction.
