Marvel's Daredevil is Netflix's Highest Rated TV Show

According to a report from Business Insider, Marvel’s Daredevil is the top-rated TV series on Netflix, which is semi-surprising considering all of the hit shows Netflix has to offer. As you know, Netflix uses a five-star rating system for users to rate their TV shows. Currently, Marvel’s Daredevil has a 4.6 star rating, which is 0.1 stars better thanBreaking Bad, House of Cards, and Sherlock, according to the report.

While I don’t know if Daredevil is truly “better” than Breaking Bad or Sherlock, it’s definitely as good or better than House of Cards, and it’s really an honor to even be mentioned along with such great shows. Heading into the first season, if you told me that Daredevil would be thought of as highly as those three shows, I don’t know if I would have believed you. So much had to go right in Steven DeKnight’s vision of Daredevil for that to happen, and it appears that it has.

Daredevil had a distinct advantage heading into its first season, at least compared to the other three shows. As a very successful Marvel comic, Daredevil has a large following already. Based on how well done the first season of Daredevil was, I can’t imagine why any comic fans wouldn’t enjoy the show. On top of that, Daredevil was also created for average fans or people who aren’t fans of the comics at all. I fall into that category, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with Daredevil, honestly.

So really, Daredevil just happened to be the perfect show to garner such a high rating. We’ll see if they can keep it up with DaredevilSeason 2. If you haven’t seen Daredevil, I can’t recommend it enough. Even if you don’t like superhero shows or movies, Daredevil has other working components that make the show entertaining for almost anyone.
