Dil Raju reveals why Kerintha got delayed

Speaking at the soundtrack launch of ‘Kerintha’ in Hyderabad on Monday, producer Dil Raju said he wanted to make ‘Kerintha’, his forthcoming production, with Sai Dharam Tej, Sundeep Kishan and Arun, to begin with. “Somehow I felt they wouldn’t be appropriate for the film after the photo shoot. I called them and apologised for the inconvenience caused,” said Raju.

A directorial venture of Saikiran Adivi, the film, starring Sumanth Ashwin, Sri Divya, Tejaswi, Nithya Naresh and Sukriti in the lead roles, was also delayed by considerable time. Elaborating on it he said, “I wasn’t satisfied with the first 30 days’ footage. I felt something was amiss. I sat down with Saikiran, writers Hari and Ravi and re-worked on the script once again. Saikiran managed to complete the film in 60 days,” he said.
